Membership Meeting - March 2024 SMACNA-BC

Join us on Thursday, March 21st for a presentation by Amy Duncan from DMCL, Chartered Professional Accountants. 

Amy will be discussing the following topics:

• BC and Federal Training Tax Credits
• Accelerated Depreciation on Equipment
• Common Tax Depreciation Rates
• Common Deductions that are often overlooked
• Tax Adjustments for Holdbacks
• CRA Audit Focus

Speaker bio:
Amy joined DMCL in 2010 after graduating with her Bachelor of Business Administration and completed her CPA, CGA designation in 2013 while working with DMCL.  Amy is focused on providing advisory, assurance and taxation services for owner-managed business, not-for-profit organizations and individuals.  She works with a variety of businesses including construction, professional services, holding companies and charities.

We would also like to thank Peter Sung of Equipco Ltd. for donating a pair of Whitecaps tickets for the May 4^th game vs Austin. We will be doing a draw for these tickets, so don't miss out!
